WebDec 9, 2024 · yeah, that way i can select the floodgate i place.. but i am talking about linking it to a lever, and how to select the mechanism to use. because when i link, there is no choose material option, the mechanism is preselected right away without (an obvious) way to change it. WebSounds like a good plan, but I always build my floodgate at the end of a tunnel, link it up first, and then finish the tunnel. That way after the dwarf busts into the water / magma and comes running back, i can have another dwarf slam closed the floodgate to stop the flow until my miner successfully escapes.
